An accomplished poet and musician, Wisher will invite participants to reflect on their experiences and surroundings through poetry. Words and phrases generated during the session may be gathered and incorporated into a future musical installation on the arts trail.
Some participants may also be invited to read their work aloud for recording. These recordings may later be woven into a musical composition created by Wisher and musicians.
The workshop will take place at 11:30 a.m. at Lafayette College’s Williams Visual Arts Building, 243 N. 3rd St., Easton, PA 18042.
Register by emailing jtoia@karlstirnerartstrail.org.
The program is supported in part with funding from the Hotel Tax grant programs through Northampton County’s Department of Community & Economic Development, a Crayola Community Grant, and the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency, through the Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts.
