The Liz Keough Orchestra will play another lively set of jazz music at the Karl Stirner Arts Trail on Saturday, Sept. 12, at 7 p.m.
Hailed as a national treasure by Quarter Notes Magazine, Keough leads her Easton band sizzling and swinging through jumping, jiving, and thrilling party music. By turns wry and bombastic, Honest Liz deftly riffs on life, liberty, and the pursuit of an eight-to-the-bar groove.
The event takes place at Movie Hill by the dog park and is part of the Karl Stirner Arts Trail’s Movies and Music on the Trail series, which also includes:
- Aug. 15, 8 p.m. — Faces Places, Agnès Varda and JR’s acclaimed documentary.
- Aug. 23, 4 p.m. — Old Lady, a New Jersey-based band blending country, rockabilly, and punk
The series kicked off with the classic 1971 dark comedy-drama Harold and Maude.
