Harold and Maude will be screened on Saturday, June 13, at 8 p.m. on Movie Hill near the KSAT dog park.
The classic 1971 dark comedy-drama directed by Hal Ashby was selected for preservation in the National Film Registry in 1997 and was ranked #45 on the American Film Institute list of 100 funniest films of all time.
The event is part of the Karl Stirner Arts Trail’s Movies and Music on the Trail series, which also includes:
- Aug. 15 — Paper & Glue, a documentary exploring director JR’s global public art projects
- Aug. 23 — Old Lady, a New Jersey-based band blending country, rockabilly, and punk
