Celebrate the Winter Solstice Under a Full Moon

Join your friends on Friday, Dec. 21, at 5 p.m. in the 13th Street parking lot at the entrance of the Karl Stirner Arts Trail for a moonlight stroll, a few winter songs to take the chill off, and a candlelight celebration of Rachel Hayes’ vibrant and colorful banners. After the group walks a short distance down the trail, the evening festivities, “Cold Moon, Warm Colors, Still Hearts,” begin at 5:23 p.m. as the solstice arrives.

After a few seasonal songs and readings, enjoy complimentary hot chocolate at Tucker in the Silk Mill, where you can enjoy holiday shopping.

The event is organized by Peter and Randi Schmidt.
