Enjoy Movies Along the Trail on July 12 & Aug. 9

Join the Karl Stirner Arts Trail for outdoor showings of the film Paterson on July 12 and The Point on Aug. 9.

Bring a blanket or chairs and a picnic dinner. The screenings will take place on “Movie Hill” near the KSAT dog park starting a bit past dusk — 9:05 p.m. for Paterson (Date Night) and 8:35 p.m. for The Point (Family Night). The rain dates for each is the next day.

On both days, KSAT will also host Second Saturday Poetry from 5-8 p.m.

Starring Adam Driver (BlacKkKlansman, three Star Wars films), Paterson has a 96% score on Rotten Tomatoes and is rated R for strong language. A bus driver lives a routine life and observes the world, finding inspiration for the poetry he writes in his spare moments and sharing a harmonious existence with his creatively ambitious wife.

With a rating of 89% on Rotten Tomatoes, the animated musical The Point features Ringo Starr, who voices the narrator/father as he tells the story of young Oblio, who is exiled to the Pointless Forest for having a round head.
