Part of KSAT’s Movies Along the Trail series, the event will take place at Movie Hill near the dog park.

Hailed as a national treasure by Quarter Notes Magazine, beloved queer icon Honest Liz Keough leads her Easton band sizzling and swinging through always surprising sets of jumping, jiving, and downright thrilling party music. By turns wry and bombastic, Honest Liz deftly riffs on life, liberty, and the pursuit of an eight-to-the-bar groove that leaves listeners begging for more.

The film montage is created by the Firefly Cinema Project, part of Overtown Media + Art Center. The local nonprofit has a vision to provide an open space for people of all ages to make work, express ideas, build community, and learn the creative tools and techniques of photography, video art, filmmaking, and other visual arts. Overtown has done several photo and video workshops with local young people, curates film screenings, and has a pop-up cyanotype booth project.

Movies Along the Trail is sponsored by Integrated Automotive Services, Timmerman Equipment, Bi-State Construction, Ed and Kathy Ahart, and Northampton County.
