The KSAT was recognized in a recent article, “Lehigh Valley Runs: Our guide to the region’s best trails for runners of all levels.”
The LehighValleyLive article states, “The Karl Stirner Arts Trail in Easton is the perfect marriage of art and nature. The 1.75-mile paved trail that runs along the Bushkill Creek is named after the sculptor who spent more than two decades promoting Easton as a major art destination, according to the trail’s website. The trail is largely shaded, connecting the Simon Silk Mill (now home to shops and cafes) to the stairs at Lafayette College. The trail is mostly flat, adorned with sculptures…”
The biggest day of the year for running on the trail is the annual Artful Dash 5K Run/Walk, which hosted more than 150 competitors in October.
