Sixth Artful Dash 5K Run/Walk Returns Oct. 8

Runners start competing in the Artful Dash at the Karl Stirner Arts Trail in Easton, Pennsylvania.

The Artful Dash 5K Run/Walk will once again take participants on a journey through more than 15 different works of art, including sculptures, murals, and horticulture on the Karl Stirner Arts Trail along the scenic Bushkill Creek, on Sunday, Oct. 8, starting at 10 a.m. The race will start behind the trail head by Don Juan Mex Grill, 300 North Third Street, Easton.

This race is dog-friendly and open to all ages. Runners under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. You are guaranteed a long-sleeve T-shirt if you sign up by Tuesday, Sept. 19. Prizes will be awarded to top finishers in various age groups and genders, as well as the fastest dog.

This is the sixth edition of the event, which has seen an increase in participants every year. Last year, nearly 275 racers signed up to run or walk on the trail. Racers and sponsors helped KSAT raise more than $7,000, and this year the goal is $8,000.

This year’s race has a projected social media reach of 3,300 Facebook users and over 1,600 KSAT newsletter recipients throughout Easton, the Greater Lehigh Valley, and western New Jersey. Please consider supporting the KSAT and the year-round programming it provides to the community.
